Twisted! A short-lived musical following the grown-up Oliver Twist as he navigates life, love and danger in a dark and smoky Victorian London.

Originally conceived and written by the very talented musician Esler Burke, I was tasked with orchestrating and arranging 13 songs from the first iteration of this musical, and with writing a further 15 songs for this new version. You can hear them all here, some with vocals recorded for an album release.

A huge number of exceptional people took part in this production, too many to name here. I will however highlight the following performers who lend their voices to the songs with vocals here:

Guglielmo Maria d’Avino - Oliver

Maria Karelina - Jane

Robbie Swan - Dodger

Sadie Cole - Meg

Sean Chriscole - Thomas

Amber Simone Rodrigues - Bet

Richard Allen - Dan

Rich Dee - Monks

Maria Hallows was the excellent Musical Director, working with the cast and me to develop the songs for the performance. She's also responsible for writing the beautiful harmonies you can hear.

Twisted! was immensely fun to work on, and it deserved to live a little longer. Maybe it will have a third life in the future, but in the meantime, please enjoy these songs and share with your friends.
